The Glypto Diamond Band is hand carved from wax, starting by shaping the wax into a half-round band and then creating the hammered effect using a bur. The wax model is then cast in recycled metal, the diamonds are flush set by hand one at a time, and the band is hand finished to a satin matte.

Because every step is done by hand, no two Glypto bands come out the same. The hammered surface falls differently each time, and the width of the band shifts between 2.6mm and 3.5mm as it travels around the finger. It is not uniform, and it is not meant to be — that movement is the hand work showing. Set flush, the diamonds sit level with the gold, so nothing catches or snags.

The texture of the band is unique, with an organic effect, and it works perfectly as a wedding band, a simple organic ring, a solo band, or stacked with other rings.

Solid gold — gold is a soft metal, so small marks appear over time. Clean with warm water and a little mild soap, then dry with a soft cloth.

Gemstones — avoid chemicals and knocks. Store pieces separately so they don't scratch each other, and have settings checked once a year.
