The Glypto Band is hand carved from wax, starting by shaping the half-round band and then creating the hammered effect by hand using a bur. The wax model is then cast in recycled metal and finished by hand to a satin matte.
Every band is carved and hammered one at a time, so each one comes out slightly different. The marks land where the hand puts them, and the width moves between 2.6mm and 3mm around the band rather than holding one measurement. That unevenness is the point — it is what separates a carved band from a machined one.
The texture of the band is unique, with an organic effect, and it works perfectly as a wedding band, a simple organic ring, a solo band, or stacked with other rings.
Solid gold — gold is a soft metal, so small marks appear over time. Clean with warm water and a little mild soap, then dry with a soft cloth.
Gemstones — avoid chemicals and knocks. Store pieces separately so they don't scratch each other, and have settings checked once a year.
